Welcome Flower Misters & Missus'

Welcome to Flower Missus.

When you get married, who you gonna call? When you celebrate your 32nd birthday, who you gonna call? When you're pretty broke and needing a small pick-me-up, who you gonna call? Flower Missus!

For when you're happy/sad, celebrating/stagnating, up in arms/in someone's arms these petals and blooms and raggedy-edged leaves will fill your heart up. Many of the flowers used are foraged locally from sustainable sources, meaning a simple posey for your bedside table is affordable and also innately connected to your own backyard.

Who is Flower Missus?

I'm someone who loves the transformative power of flowers, their simple humility and the way we can easily connect with our environment with local blooms and foliages. Over the years I've been a prolific picker of flowers and in 2010 I received my Floristry qualification. I hope to share my passion: for flowers; for brave design; for sustainable, accessible, beautiful things.

  1. Dearest Flower Missus,
I am a recently engaged lady of good fortune and exquisite taste struck dumb by the many ugly/boring/unimaginative florals being used on one of the most wondrous day of one's young life.
My search has led me to this very internet log and I must say I am quite impressed. I too love flowers and am fond of the word missus, some find it a derogative term to refer to ones lady partner yet I find it endearing and Australian and lovely.
I would like to engage your floral services on an as yet unnamed date when I shall wed, probably by the end of the year, hopefully in the prime of peony season.
I have family members collecting suitable vessicles for flowers and loose/negotiable ideas.
Looking forward to discussing our future floral endeavour.
    Yours SIncerly,
    Bride to be.
